Who is Donna Schiehsl, RN and the Adult Parent Support Society

Aging Parent Support Society is committed to providing  online classes and resources to support individuals caring for their elderly parents at home. I am a Registered Nurse, Caregiver Coach, and the founder of this group. I help adult  children navigate this tender season with clarity, confidence, and Christ centered peace.  Our programs cover a wide range of topics including elderly care techniques, emotional well-being, and creating a supportive and safe home environment. We are dedicated to empowering caregivers and enhancing the quality of life for both you and your parent.  You can't pour from an empty cup.   Let's help you care for your parents, on this amazing journey!

Free Intro Video for All

We understand your struggle.  You want to do the absolute best for your parent, but it's hard.  The intro video will explain how we can help you on this wonderful journey,

Bi Weekly Webinars

Every other week we will discuss a topic with practical, and supportive ideas.  This video can be accessed any time it is convenient  to your schedule and can be

rewatched as long as you are

a member.  There are also notes to print if you would like. 

On the opposite week of the webinar, we will meet as a group on Zoom to discuss any difficulties you may be having.

One on One Chat with Donna 

This is a 90 minute zoom call to discuss your specific needs with your caregiving.  You will be asked to fill out an information card prior so I can best assist you.

The cost is only $20 per month.  Not because that is what it is worth, but because we are well aware of the "cost" of caring for your parent.  We are trying to provide help as easy as possible.

Who is the Aging Parent Support Society Membership for?

 

 

This membership is designed specifically for people who are caring for, supporting, or worried about an aging parent — whether they live nearby or across the country.

It’s for people who want emotional support, practical guidance, and a faith-centered community that understands what they’re going through.

Our classes cover a wide range of topics . We focus on the issues most people struggle with most, including:

 

  • how to talk to a parent who refuses help

  • how to know if your parent is safe living alone

  • navigating dementia behaviors

  • communicating with stubborn or resistant parents

  • setting boundaries without guilt

  • dealing with siblings who don’t help

  • caregiver stress, guilt, and emotional overload

  • preventing burnout

 

 

All webinars are recorded and available inside the membership.
